Case story:
Riya Kiritkumar Prajapati

Riya, a dedicated student from a poor socio-economic background, faced significant challenges while preparing for her 12th Commerce examination, living in a one-room kitchen house with her father, an auto rickshaw driver. Despite these hardships, she achieved an impressive 99.08 percentile, aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant to support her family. For the past five years, Baroda Citizens Council has provided her with crucial educational sponsorship, helping her overcome financial barriers and focus on her studies. Grateful for this support, Riya expresses her desire to establish a free library for underprivileged children in the future, ensuring they have access to resources that she lacked during her own preparation.

Dhruvi Chetankumar Shah

Dhruvi achieved an impressive 98.84 percentile in her Class 12 Commerce exams, demonstrating her dedication and hard work. Coming from a modest background, with her father, Chetankumar, earning Rs. 13,000 per month in a private job and her mother, Niraliben, being a housewife, Dhruvi's family consists of four members, including her younger sister, Sanvi, who is in 5th grade. Despite financial challenges, her parents prioritized their daughters' education, motivating Dhruvi to study diligently for four to five hours daily. She managed to excel academically without private tuition, choosing instead to review her school lessons at home.
