The project Family Counselling Centre being executed in Female Wing at Vadodara Central Jail was commenced in month of February 2004. The centre is supported by Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi and its advisory Board is located at Gujarat State Social Welfare Board, Ahmedabad.

Our counsellor works towards, rehabilitation of the convict as well as her family members, by providing them counselling, legal support to the inmates via legal advisors and also helps them in writing letters or application and also in filling their forms. Through this initiative, the children of the inmates are also assisted in solving their education and health related problems. The Counsellor also visits Juvenile home, observation home, state home for women, Khasvadi Samshan gruh and civil hospital, if required.

On 10 January 2008, Param was established to empower women from slums towards their Social, Educational and Economical development, where they are provided with Vocational Training for their capacity building and for income generation, as per city level.

With an aim to create a suitable atmosphere to empower women in Luna village, by orienting them towards a sustainable livelihood in the future, various vocational classes are being conducted in the premises of Param for Income Generation, such as Tailoring classes, Beauty Parlour classes, Mehndi classes, etc.

This project works towards over all betterment of the residents of Luna village, through linkages with Government Organizations and Private & Public Partnerships between villagers and industrialists, for its development.

Its objective is to empower the females in village, by provide them Vocational training, for their Social, Educational and Economical development.

  • To empower the youth of villages.
  • To develop a “Youth Information Centre” where      they can get information on Health, Education and      Recreational activities.

It includes skill development and education based training programs, to help the village youths in attaining scholarships to pursue Technical courses, Establishment of Youth Information Centre, Health camps for Females through linkages with Private and Public Partnerships, if required.
