“SAVERA” - Educational Sponsorship Project

Since long time, the Council has been working towards educating children. To take this bequest forward, this program has been initiated by Ms. Harleen Chawala, Chairperson of BCC, in 2010-2011, to provide quality education to as many underprivileged children as possible, who are either working or not attending school due to financial reasons, with the kind support of our valuable donors.

Once child has been identified, the members give a surprise visit to the child’s residence, meet the parents, confirm their financial condition and go through all the assessment procedures by visiting the child’s school.

To sponsor a child’s education, a donor has to contribute just Rs. 4000/- p.a. and the donor will be constantly updated about the child’s progress. If donor wishes, then the donor can also meet the child being sponsored and visit his school.
